Loco Burro isn't the best Mexican food I've ever had, but if you need the itch scratched, they'll certainly do it. We sat on the roof, which was a little bit windy (It was November, so that's mostly on us), but they didn't seem to have anything like fire pits or heat lamps to warm it up very much. I started with their traditional margarita, which was very big, and as tasty as every other margarita I've ever had. For 10 bucks, it got the job done. Their Horchata is also good, but perhaps a half a step down from what you'll find in a hole in the wall back alley Mexican place. The Salsas they brought out complementary are very good, but the Queso Dip we got was a bit thin. It wasn't so watery that we couldn't eat it, and it did taste good, but I'd prefer a little bit more grippiness. My partner got the Duck Tacos, which is an odd item on a Mexican menu but they were very good and she was delighted by them. I got the Houston Combo, which was solid but not a home run. The Taco didn't really stand up well to being picked up, rendering it a knife and fork affair. The Tamale was a bit weak (I didn't realize it was Pork until now, I thought it was Chicken), and the Enchiladas, Rice, and Beans were solid. Overall, I'm aware that I'm spoiled having spent a decade in southern Arizona, but Loco Burro doesn't quite compare to those Mexican places. It is however, perfectly acceptable and I'd have no issues going back a second time. This is an easy good, but not great evaluation from me.

Never fails to please! Sat rooftop today and enjoyed the service at the bar and my son always orders a Arroz con Pollo and adds the 6 ounce skirt steak.. a wonderful dish and definitely able to be shared by two people. The chips and salsa here are always amazing. There's three different types of salsa that accompany the chips all being really yummy. The gal who waited on us at the bar, had an amazing personality and was exceptional at her job . I forgot to take a picture of the meal so you'll just have to believe me and come and try it and if the weathers nice make sure you do the roof top and enjoy everything we've had on the menu in the past has been wonderful !
